Meet the incredibly loved Bucks of Meander Mtn Farm!!
PaxsonKdz TS Lightning Bolt +B -
Son of the 2015 ADGA Jr. National Champion
Bolt is my absolute PRIDE AND JOY and will live every day of the rest of his life right here in my backyard. He is the only buck retained by the PaxsonKdz herd when they retired from goats and has been breeding my does since 2020. He is as Old School Algedi, Alethia & Rosasharn as you can get these days, and is over 3% line bred on BOTH SGCH Rosasharn’s TL Zenith 3*M EEVE90 and ++*B Rosasharn’s UMT Hamachi VVV85. He is currently 8 years old and still loving being employed as our Meander Mtn Herd Sire. We have some INCREDIBLY special plans for him in fall 2025, including a collection, so stay tuned for updates on that as it gets closer! All of his 2025 Kidding Season Reservations are currently FULL. And yes, his beard IS real and he IS a true redhead, like his mother.
Bolt will be shown all over the West Coast and beyond in 2025, as well as participate in Linear Appraisal in June 2025. He hasn't entered a show ring since he was just a baby, and I know he is going to make us all SO proud next year. I cannot wait to bring him out and share his stunning looks and sweet personality with all of you. We will be using him heavily again next year now that we have some outside genetics brought in to mix him with, and plan to do some line breeding on him with some special guest goats as well! He truly is everything we have ever wanted in a herd sire and cannot express our gratitude to him enough for propelling the quality of our herd to its current levels.
Look out for our Bolt Fan Club meetings coming to a city near you in 2025! We already have a president and a vice president but still need a secretary, treasurer & social media manager!
Hidden Hills Smaller Acts - (Zach)
We are so happy to welcome Hidden Hills Smaller Acts home! Zach was one of the easiest and quickest decisions I ever made! Jennifer at Hidden Hills sent me a message at 4am one morning, knowing I was looking to add a jr. herd sire to my farm, and offered to sell me Zach. I am awake at 4am every morning, so I promptly sent back the fastest YES my fingers could ever type, and went to pick him up a couple days later with my friend Siena at Alethia Dairy! We got to visit Jennifer's beautiful farm and all of her famous, stunning goats which was an absolute honor. Having Zach here is a blessing and truly a dream come true. Bolt and Zach are already a perfect team and destined to be the best of friends forever.
Once I purchased Zach, I needed some very special does with very special genetics to breed him to this year, so I leased a few does from a neighbor of mine - after some blood testing and biosecurity measures were taken! I am happy to report two out of the three leased does have been confirmed pregnant by ultrasound so far, and we have a few open reservations left! Check them out on our Kidding Schedule page.

WSF is the top fair show in the country. Multiple national champion breeders in all breeds make the annual pilgrimage to "the Puyallup" to compete from top prize money and awards. 700 entries is not unusual. Tempo, Lucky Stars, Woest-Hoeve, Moss Ridge Rockin-CB, Olentangy, Joheas-Acres, with drop ins from Redwood Hill's, Van Just, etc with the rotating breed specialty. It is not unusual to have 3 to 5 national champions in the grand line-up
The Nigerian Senior show was a tremendous exhibition of Nigerian quality. SGCH Urban Acres ASD Fairey was 1st place 7and over, Grand Champion with Best Udder of Breed."
